  • Antoinette grew up in Taunton, Somerset and studied dance at the Trull School of Dancing, a school born and nurtured by her mum Michéle. She went on to train for 9 years at The Royal Ballet Lower and Upper School in London before moving to Leeds to join the Northern Ballet Company. Her career spanned 14 years and saw her reach Premier Dancer and tour extensively with the company throughout the UK and overseas. Since retiring she has gone on to do a Pilates teacher training course and teach ballet to both adults and children. Antoinette is excited to get involved in the local community and share her passion for dance.

  • A fun and engaging environment for learning the foundations of ballet. We’ll start each class by using the barre for support as we warm up the body. Later on we’ll push the barres to the side and move into the centre of the room to dance. There will be music. There will be joy. There may well be sweaty feet - but we embrace it all.

  • Wear whatever’s most comfortable and allows you to move freely.

Ballet shoes are advised although not compulsory - socks or bare feet are also fine.
